Being a voluntary agency BJSSVS is keen to play a very creative and innovative role in motivating the rural people and supervising the distribution of the resources with a view to ensuring their proper utilization. The main thirst of BJSSVS is to generate self - reliant efforts among the villagers so that they might become less and less independent upon outside agencies in ameliorating their lot and so that in course of time, they might make over the continuing tasks and responsibilities for future development.

Since 2017 the trust has been involved in the development activities through varied types of programmes concentrating majorly
WOMEN, CHILDREN, and YOUTHS & ADOLESCENT GIRLS in the working area by managing its locally available source of income. Integrated and holistic development through Empowerment programs are the key strategic approach of the organization to reach out the most the needy and deprived sections. The organization focuses more on an area based approach, community-driven initiations, decentralized planning, strengthening of the existing government institutions, instead of running parallel institutions.

SCT focuses on integrated/participatory/right based approach towards the community development through the empowerment of rural and urban poor, strengthening of developed structures and systems, integration of all the Community Based Organizations (CBOs) at grassroots level, mainstreaming families with integrated approach in farm and non-farm sectors, value addition by integration of programmes, networking, advocacy and lobbying.
